The Fostering Deal
We understand the importance of the support we offer to our foster carers, and appreciate the continuous care and love they give to our children every day. This is why we want to ensure all Knowsley foster carers feel supported and appreciated in order to fulfil their role. We want to give our foster carers the opportunity to learn and develop within their roles. This could be through training, peer mentoring, support groups or through assisting us in the recruitment of new carers, allowing foster carers to develop a host of skills that enhance your expertise as a foster carer and positively impact the future generation.
What is The Fostering Deal?
The Knowsley ‘Fostering Deal’ sets out what the Council will do to support foster carers in their role, whilst also detailing what foster carers will be expected to do in continuing to provide a high level care to our children and young people.
Knowsley Better Together brings people and organisations together for the benefit of Knowsley and its residents. More can be achieved by pooling resources, expertise and ideas.
